Dr. Cynthia Lagueux just returned from a three week trip to Caribbean Nicaragua where she continues to conduct research on the legal green turtle fishery, oversee monitoring of sea turtle nesting at El Cocal, and conduct ongoing, long-term research on genetics and incubation temperatures. She returned with nearly 500 sea turtle tags recovered from green turtle fishers which she is currently processing and will soon be notifying the original tagging programs.
