A status update on hawksbill turtles in the Wider Caribbean, Western Atlantic and Eastern Pacific regions, prepared by Dr. Cathi Campbell for the Inter-American Convention for the Protection and Conservation of Sea Turtles (IAC) is now available (in English and Spanish) on the IAC website (iacseaturtle.org). The status update was conducted to ensure that member States have the most up to date information on hawksbill biology, population status, and conservation needs to guide management actions and to ensure their recovery in these regions.
