ACCSTR partners with BNT, FIRE, and STC to lead Sea Turtle Research Camp

ACCSTR graduate student Joe Pfaller helped lead a Sea Turtle Research Camp on the island of New Providence in The Bahamas 1-5 July.  Joe taught Bahamian students about sea turtles and their nesting habits, and coordinated nesting beach surveys along the western coast of the island.  Stevie Connett coordinated the in-water surveys.  This project is a collaboration of the ACCSTR, Bahamas National Trust (BNT), Family Island Research and Education (FIRE), and the Sea Turtle Conservancy (STC).  The camp was a great success.
