Satellite Telemetry Tracking Projects
The Archie Carr Center for Sea Turtle Research (ACCSTR), has deployed a number of satellite tracking devices to evaluate the migratory and distribution patterns of sea turtles. Our current project focuses on the habitat use by nesting females of multiple species, starting with three loggerheads tagged in collaboration with the Caretta Research Project at Wassaw Island, Georgia. Their tracks can be viewed here.
